With PSR rules now also in place, that type of endless player acquisition just isn't going to be possible for most clubs any more. I think having a football ethos, if not style of play that transcends the manager is sensible, and you find managers who can work within that. This ethos can change over time and will evolve, but it shouldn't lurch every time there is a need to change the manager.
